The reset password functionality does not work properly.

Bugfix for version 3.2 / 4.0 Apply the following 4 bug-fixes in the order they occur. Depending on which version you're running, some changes may have already been applied to on your system. Therefore the indicated line numbers of the changesets may vary greatly.

  1. d226c002715b455ee79d56678ddf4caf5571e96a
  2. d52e963fbb74968abebe31e348f388c6b8d6ddb1

  4. 0eb730568bd9dae176e5be014c7db7e7f82e128a

Important:
After applying the bugfix, do ensure that the related application page (section=login / cmd=resetpw) does contain the placeholder [[LOGIN_EMAIL]]. If the placeholder does not exist, but instead the placeholder [[LOGIN_USERNAME]] is present, do replace the latter by [[LOGIN_EMAIL]].

Additionally do ensure that name-Attribtue of the HTML-input-tag that contains the placeholder [[LOGIN_USERNAME]] is set to email:

<input type="hidden" name="email" value="[[LOGIN_EMAIL]]" />

The proposed code for 3.2 SP1 is already in operation in 3.2. However, a password reset fails because the emailed link still contains &username=[Email address]. It brings up the error message: Invalid user account specified.
